Chronic Pain Ireland (CPI) is the national charity supporting people living with chronic pain. Established over 30 years ago, CPI provides education, advocacy, and peer-led support to individuals and families affected by persistent pain. Chronic pain affects up to one in three people in Ireland, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood and under-recognised health conditions. CPI offers a range of services including self-management programmes, online workshops, a confidential helpline, and accessible resources to empower people to live well with pain.
CPI also works to raise public and professional awareness, reduce stigma, and advocate for timely, person-centred care in both community and hospital settings. By supporting people with lived experience and collaborating with healthcare professionals, CPI is helping to create a more inclusive and informed society.
