Migrant Health Alliance Ireland

Migrant Health Alliance Ireland (MHAI) is a migrant-led organisation advocating for equitable healthcare access, policy reforms, and tailored health education for Ireland’s diverse migrant populations.
The organisation was founded to address the significant challenges faced by Ireland’s migrant and ethnic minority communities in accessing healthcare services. Additionally, migrants frequently
MHAI bridges these gaps in the lack of representation in research, policymaking, and healthcare service design, which leaves specific health needs unaddressed, by building trust, advocating for equitable healthcare, and empowering migrant communities to engage with health services and systems effectively.
Vision: To create a future where all migrants and ethnic minority groups in Ireland achieve equitable health outcomes and are empowered to engage fully with health services and systems.
Mission:To promote health and well-being within migrant communities in Ireland, focusing on social determinants of health and working collaboratively to reduce health inequities.
