Dr Garrett McGovern is Medical Director and Founder of the Priority Medical Clinic, which is a private outpatient addiction treatment and rehabilitation facility in Dundrum. He is a renowned medical addiction expert and is a regular contributor to the media on addiction related health issues. He graduated in Medicine from Trinity College Dublin and in Clinical Addiction from the National Addiction Centre, King’s College London. He is the only doctor in Ireland who has Addiction Medicine Certification with the International Society of Addiction Medicine. He also holds a Diploma in Clinical Leadership form the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
