Megan Walsh is a Senior Occupational Therapist in University Hospital Waterford. Currently based in University Hospital Waterford with previous experience in the acute system, the NHS and in community services in Ireland. Megan holds an MA in Healthcare Management and is currently undertaking a research MSc with University College Cork exploring pre- and post-intervention outcomes for older adults accessing reablement services post discharge. Her current work is an innovative collaboration between Older Person’s Home Support Services and Acute Occupational Therapy aimed at enhancing recovery for older adults following discharge and ultimately promoting improved patient flow.
