Irish Haemochromatosis Association
The Irish Haemochromatosis Association (IHA) was established 28 years ago and is the only registered charity in Ireland supporting patients with haemochromatosis or iron overload. The charity's main purpose is to raise awareness of Ireland’s most common genetic disorder and provide information, support and resources for patients.
Through educational and awareness campaigns, we promote early diagnosis and treatment of haemochromatosis. Early detection is vital so that patients can avoid organ damage and live a normal healthy life after treatment.
