Dr Ronan Mahon is a Lecturer in Economics at the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics, University of Galway, where he serves as Programme Director of the MSc in Health Economics. He chairs the Health Economics Association of Ireland (HEAI) and sits on Ireland's National Screening Advisory Committee. His research focuses on cost-effectiveness threshold estimation, equity in health economic evaluation, and early value assessment methods. Prior to academia, he spent a decade in health economics and market access at Novartis, bringing over 16 years of combined industry and academic experience to his work. He holds a PhD from the Centre for Health Economics, University of York
